ENZARed Kiwifruit to Star at Asia Fruit Logistica 2010
ENZARed Kiwifruit is set to again be a major attraction at the 2010 Asia Fruit Logistica from 8-10 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Demand continues to place ENZARed kiwifruit at a premium in 2010 and while volumes are up significantly in 2010 ENZA Kiwifruit Programme Manager, Murray Malone, said that the company anticipates only being able to meet a portion of demand in this early stage of development.
"Asia Fruit Logistica is a fantastic opportunity to showcase this stunning fruit and cement long term relationships for the growth of this spectacular variety. We are very pleased with initial demand and reception for the product from both trade and consumers."
ENZARed delivers the first unique kiwifruit development in well over a decade. It is a gold fruit with a stunning ruby starburst in the centre. The flavour is also a new development as the acid, sugar balance gives the fruit a broad global appeal and satisfying complexity on the tongue.
ENZARed volumes continue to grow rapidly and Malone believes ENZARed kiwifruit will be a staple on the shelves of fruit retailers around the world in the not too distant future.
ENZA will be at stand H-1 at Asldia Fruit Logistica with partners Delica Global and Turners and Growers. Other products of interest will be ENZAGold Kiwifruit, ENZAGreen Kiwifruit, Summer Kiwi and MegaKiwi. ENZA's outstanding new apple varieties JAZZ and ENVY will also be on display and Delica will be presenting it's premium produce offering for Asia.
